Music...

I need to buy more kid friendly cds, ones that Bradley (and Rodney when older) can listen to and also sing along to, my current cd collection is limited, and Bradley has just learnt how to put music on himself, and loves dancing around to it...

The Boys

Well Rodney came into this world, after a long, but much shorter labour than Bradley... he is now almost 2 1/2 months old and in size 00 already, hes a real chubba bubba, compared to his older brother Bradley, who was wearing size 00 when he was 12 months old...

Both pregnancies were completely different, and both boys seem quite different now, sooo, same sex pregnancies do NOT always mean they will be the same, and because I did not find out the sex, everyone was guessing I was going to have a girl, well proved that one wrong...

They boys both play quite well together, and Bradley likes to get down on the floor and lay next to Rodney playing with the toys and the frames he lays under... Rodney tends to watch and take in everything Bradley does, I think he may want to start exploring early, and then I will have my hands full...

I have been lucky, as with both boys their personalities are calm and relaxed, they are quite peaceful, and don't give me too much of a hard time, they also take well to others holding them, and don't seem to worry when I leave the room.

I only hope they do grow to be the best of mates with each other and keep their current personalities...

Forgetful me :-S

OOPS, I forgot to pay the car insurance... Better do that in the morning. Don't ya hate being forgetful? ugh

Busy busy not so busy...

Well, as quiet as I have been, I have been quite busy with Bradley, as soon, he won't be an "only child". Trying to spend as much one on one time with him as I can.

We have had a playgroup break up at Myuna farm, been to the movies, and just "hung out" together. A couple of times we have been for a short drive and visited Remo at work, to which Bradley loves, as any dad time is fun time for him!!!

Yesterday after my appointment to see how this baby is progressing, Bradley and I went to the hospital as we were sent there for me to have a CTG to make sure all is well with the baby as movement has really slowed down, which did not bother me, as Bradley also had very slow movement in his final weeks, and this one STILL moves more than Bradley did... Think I'm in trouble with this one when he/she arrives... I had no idea where I was going in the hospital, as I have never been to the maternity ward there, wow talk about high security glass doors, have to be "buzzed" in and out!!!

After the hospital, we ventured off to look for a birthday present for Remo, as Friday is his birthday, finally thought of something and came home with an MP3 player for him, just a Sony brand, that he can put his CD's on and it also has radio and a voice recorder on it. Something simple enough for him to be able to work out and use, and I know he will get much use out of it, as he loves listening to his music!!!

Today I have potted about and dug out some scrapbook paper and I helped Bradley make a card for Remo, to which he had fun making. I just let bradley have a scribble on the card, made a little box on the front for Bradley to draw on and printed off a few recent photos and a message for the front and inside the card and stuck them in the card for Bradley. The card is bigger than the present, lol.

Last night was a crap sleep (what's new), I found I was up and down from the toilet most the night, and about 2.30am, Bradley got out of his bed, and must of forgotten where his bedroom door was and walked into the wardrobe with a bang!!!

Today the baby has been quite active in pushing down on me, and bouncing around!!! Gotta love the head bobbing around, its such an un-comfy feeling, but great knowing your baby is going strong, and not long to go before arrival, whenever that may be... I love the whole surprise of when will my baby be born? what sex will we have? etc etc... As much as I dont like surprises and not knowing things that is happening with me, I feel very accomplished not finding out the sex, I loved sitting up to "squiz" at Bradley and see what I had given birth to!!! I think we have FINALLY settled on names, so that is one thing done!!! Oh and packed my hospital bag...

Well as the saying goes from a sign I bought "If it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done" , to which is so true in our house and life, when I saw that sign, I just had to buy it!!!
